Dear Gentle Reader (wink to Whistledown for all Bridgerton fans),

Do you have a package and no idea how many sessions you have used? Or how many you have left? Or when you paid? Or how much you paid?

Have you ever wondered what the dates or times of your upcoming sessions are?

Are you paying for your 10-session package on our Installment Subscription and want more clarity of how many more payments are due, or what the date of the automatic payment is?

This month we are going to entice you to set up your client account in our Acuity Scheduler System by sharing:

   2. What your account allows you to do

   3. How to do it

MYB Mind Your Body utilizes Acuity

to schedule our clients’ sessions, packages, and subscriptions (for installment payments). Acuity links to our website and allows us to schedule your appointment for you, but it also allows YOU to go to our website and schedule your own appointments, and make purchases of multi-session packages. (BTW, you can even purchase items from our MYB-branded store, but that is a separate topic for a future newsletter.)

If the name “Acuity” sounds familiar to you, you may do business with others who use Acuity for their client scheduling services. This is why “setting up your account” is better described as “linking your account to our business”.

Only you can link your account to MYB.

MYB cannot do this for you. And, while you do not need an account to schedule appointments with us - most of you have not set up an account - when you do create your client account - linked to MYB - you will be able to:

• Review all of your past and future appointments

• Review all of your active packages, any gift certificates, or subscriptions for installment payment plans that exist for you

• Autofill detail when booking new appointments in your own account

Creating an Account

is simple and really quite easy.

Click SIGN UP and follow the prompts.

Now, please do not be discouraged when, after you do all of this, you go to see your appointment history (past and future) and it tells you that you have no appointments. Because it will… There is another step.

Because you have conducted, probably, a long life of history with us without having those appointments linked to MYB, even though we used your same email address and nothing in your Contact Information has changed in decades, all of those appointments were booked without being linked to MYB.

Be in contact with your Practitioner, or reach out to Madelana, after you have set up your account. That next step will involve you logging in to your account through a past or future appointment confirmation. In fact, if you are not tech-phobic, you can do this next part yourself by simply finding a past or upcoming email confirmation and logging in through that link. Once that step is complete, we can assign your past appointments (booked to that email address) to your account and you will be able to see your entire history with Mind Your Body.

Going forward

When you book your own appointments, you will want to be sure that you have logged in to your account before scheduling yourself.

You will know that you are logged in because your email address will appear at the top, right instead of SIGN UP and LOGIN.

There is one caveat!

If your email address is linked to more than one client account, for example, if you are a mom whose child also is seen by someone on our staff and the child’s account is linked to your email address, those appointments will not automatically be assigned to your MYB Acuity account. Those appointments will have to be manually assigned to your MYB Acuity account.

All of this sounds quite complicated. It does. But please don’t be deterred from creating your account because you didn’t do it from the start. Consider this exercise a way to stimulate neuroplastic change in your brain by engaging in something new, maybe even something you think you can’t do.

To see your past and future appointments with amounts you paid, to see your codes for packages and amounts remaining, it will be easy!! Just click on your email address, once logged in. Here you can choose to view appointments or to manage codes.
