OUR TEAM
For over two decades, our practitioners have devoted their lives towards the healing arts. With knowledge and experience in various forms of healing, they look to offer their clients something special. Which is, providing treatment from the heart. The staff at mind your body has developed family like relationships with their clients and is thankful for being able to give people natural ways of having a better quality of life.
Madelana Ferrara, M.A. and co-founder of MYB, has been a practitioner of the healing arts for over three decades. Her love of this work has caused her to study a vast and varied set of protocols that make her knowledge base robust and her heart open and accessible. Her education background is also diverse from the arts to business to physiology, spirituality and metaphysics. She was trained and certified as a Practitioner of The Trager Approach by her teachers that learned directly from Dr. Milton Trager. She is also a certified Yoga Therapist in the Shamanic lineage of her teacher, Jyoti Crystal. She is co-author of Beatitudes, Christ and The Practice of Yoga with her spirit brother, Fr. Anthony Randazzo. Her greatest joy in her work is to help others discover their true self. Learn more about her by going to her website.
Richard Mack, L.M.T. and co-founder of MYB, has been active in the healing arts for 30 years. With a background in Native American spirituality, Pranic Healing, and other energy work Richard’s present focus is on Somatic Movement Therapy. He has been trained in The Trager Approach by Dr. Milton Trager’s direct lineage of teachers and works with clients of all ages – children and adults – who have been impacted by trauma, stress or neurological disorders. In addition to his MYB clients, he has a specialized practice with young, differently abled athletes on and off the field.

What People Are Saying
“Richard helped me heal a major hamstring tear which was hard to diagnose what caused it. He was not only able to get to the root of the physical injury but he also held safe space for me to access the underlying emotional trauma that caused it. Mind your body is definitely an holistic space for a deep evolution in your mind, body and spirit..”

“Debby Catanio changed my life. As a Senior, I developed Scoliosis. I was badly bent over, and had difficulty walking. Debby and I began working with yoga postures specifically designed to combat curvatures of the spine. She always demonstrates and explains. She is gentle and caring. She looks for new movements, and is always open to trying my suggestions. I am much straighter now. I have flexibility and stronger bones. I have little or no pain. I have my life back. My thanks, Debby, you will always be my yoga guru. You are amazing.”

“I have been meditating with Maddi for years. Initially I did in person then I moved out of NJ and when I heard she was using an virtual process, I immediately joined the group. I’ve been doing it for about a year and honestly don’t think I would have made it through the pandemic without it. Her six-day a week (whenever you are available to join) has been a godsend. She has THE most awesome and soothing voice, she is so knowledgeable, and is ALWSYS available for questions or thoughts after her practice. I started with Maddi as a beginner and it has done wonders for my serenity, peace and overall sense of well being. Best of all if you miss a practice, you can always make it up at your convenience since she tapes all her sessions. I highly recommend Mind Your Body - especially since it is so incredibly affordable. Try it-you will love it!.”
