Five Things Friday 05/20/2022
“Some people grumble that roses have thorns. I am grateful that thorns have roses.”
Women's Rights are Human Rights
Maddi says: be careful of things that make you feel fearful. Question the motives always. So far this year of 2022, which isn’t even half complete, we have been showered with fear. First by a war (which is still going on) and now by a major legislative action which is presented as a threat to women’s rights. Always interested to hear expanded points of view that differ from what the major News networks present, she also enjoys hearing empowered and knowledgeable people speak sense to insanity. Here’s a podcast from Kim Anami with her raw and radical wisdom on Roe v Wade. Kim’s work is all about sexual empowerment and healthy sex for couples. She’s lived a big, bold life all over the world and studied from the ancient wisdom. She is unapologetic about her sexuality and about sexuality universally. Her natural approach is right in line with Maddi’s belief system. And her say-it-straight manner is refreshing. If you want a resource for great information on this “tabu” subject, check her out.
Embrace The Dark Night To Become The Phoenix Rising
Now that Richard has completed his first, he’s looking forward to attending another Series by Andrew Harvey called: "Embrace The DarkNight To Become The Phoenix Rising".
What this course is offering that is so attractive to him is the prospect of rebuilding ourselves and redirecting the course of humanity by radically stripping away and burning down what we’ve become so, like the phoenix, we can rise up out of the ashes to manifest what we were created to be — divine humans.
Andrew reminds us that many of the great mystical traditions throughout history have been preparing us for a global calamity of this magnitude. Only now, looking at the heart of this catastrophic time, can we begin to fully understand what these hidden revelations have been trying to teach us all along.
If you want to join Richard in this next adventure he’s taking, here’s a link to find out more or sign up.

Anxiety Related to Intelligence? Who Knew! *Said Sarcastically*
Who hasn’t suffered some form of anxiety or stress? Debby recently read a phrase ‘anxiety makes you stupid’. Oh my! With clients experiencing stress and anxiety more often, especially with the world today, how does one cope. When you are stressed or dealing with anxiety your mind is not working in a normal way which creates forgetfulness and other situations that you may blame on getting older or more stress inducing issues such as Alzheimers or Dementia. How does one help themselves to have less time feeling anxious or stressed? A recent course that Debby participated in about gratitude gave her something to add to her tool box and she has shared it with her clients with some amazing results. Try thinking of someone or something that you are grateful for with the intention of love. Her experience has personally decreased her stress level and automatically taken her to a calmer place. One of Debby’s clients had the same experience.
Try it, what do you have to lose! Let us know if this process works for you.
Panic Attack Relief
If you suffer from or have ever experienced a panic attack, you know just how daunting it can be. The feeling that the worst is going to happen and the next thing you know, it feels like things aren't real or even worse, like you are dying.
Meghan has found that pranayama is a great way to offset or calm the nerves. Bringing your awareness to your breath to calm the nervous system and bring yourself back into your body. Alternate nostril breathing is a good way to calm down. Next time you start to feel anxious or out of it, give it a try.
Musical Support of Ukraine
There’s never a bad time to watch Sting, but this recent performance at the London Palladium is a winner. He begins with a somber piece in solidarity with Ukraine. If you plan to watch only the first number, you’ll probably keep the video going in the background as you prepare your breakfast or lunch or while you are brushing your teeth. He’s always that good.
