"I AM CONVINCED THAT FOR EVERY PHYSICAL NON-YIELDING CONDITION THERE IS A PSYCHIC COUNTERPART IN THE UNCONSCIOUS MIND TO THE DEGREE OF THE PHYSICAL MANIFESTATIONS.”

Milton Trager, M.D

She is Gone

We have all experienced loss at one time or another. Debby recently lost a sister when a special client sent her this poem. It is very touching and made her remember all the good times.

She is Gone

by David Hawkins

You can shed tears that she is gone

Or you can smile because she has lived.

You can close your eyes and pray that she will come back

or you can open your eyes and see all that she has left.

Your heart can be empty because you can’t see her

or you can be full of the love that she shared.

You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday

or you can be happy for tomorrow because you had yesterday.

You can remember her and only that she is gone

or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.

You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back

or you can do what she would want; smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

Unhinged Hearts

What do you do when it seems like everyone around you is becoming unhinged. There is no denying these are challenging times. Go into your heart and step out of the chaos and confusion. Focus on your heart. Breathe into your heart. Radiate from your heart. You are a beacon of light in a dark storm. Your love will help those around you who are in need find their way. We are all in this together... trust there will be a beautiful rainbow when this storm passes.

Listen To Your Body

Maddi is sending well wishes to all of our FTF readers and your beloveds. The resurgence of Covid infections has been notable and she is aware because it’s impacted quite a few of her clients. Reschedules and cancellations during August is not ‘typical,’ but then we aren’t living in typical times, are we? Hope, if you do get the virus, that it’s only mild and more an inconvenience that you can make the best of the forced rest. If you don’t escape with mild symptoms or asymptomatic, she’s suggesting doing something that you enjoy and that doesn’t sap your energy, but rather rebuilds it. No better time to learn to listen to one’s body than when one’s body is being unquestionably communicative. With all my best wishes… to your health!

The Comfort of Nature

Meghan has spent the last 5 days out in Long Island. Her great grandfather built a small cottage on a campsite in the 1940's. Now it is a community of bungalows in the forest, on a cliff, above the beach. As you can imagine it is extremely peaceful being out in the Long Island sound. Have you gotten a chance to enjoy nature this summer?

National Book Lovers Day!

Greenlights is Matthew McConaughey’s recent memoir and the Audible version is read (or I should say ‘acted’) by the author himself.

Maddi was already a huge fan of Matthew’s but these 6 hours and 42 minutes she spent with him while driving in her car made even the Summer Garden State Parkway traffic a pleasure!

Shout out to Maureen who emphasized that Maddi should ABSOLUTELY get this selection. Thanks, Mo!
